Snuggly Quilt

With the snow and cold weather that has suddenly hit Minnesota, my outdoor photo shoots need to be short and sweet.  So this post is going to be short and sweet, too!

I love this quilt!
The pattern is called "Refreshingly Retro" from Elizabeth Dackson's book Becoming a Confident Quilter.   It measures 54 x 70.  It's hard to see it from these photos, but I free motion quilted it in a meandering loopy design, in gray thread.  I'm planning to have this quilt for sale at my booth at the upcoming No Coast Holiday Craftorama in Minneapolis next month.  If you're local, please come and say "hi!"

  1. This is fantastic. I love the dark background. Was just at a MQG meeting last night and we were talking about dark backgrounds.. both modern yet.. retro. LOVE your colours and that splash of binding.

  2. Love the contrasting binding! I haven't had a finish since our first snow earlier this week... wonder how quickly I'll have to get my shots in, eek!
