Bottled Rainbows

What started out as this:

The first block I tried
Blocks laid out, ready for my little artists to help out

Ready for basting and quilting


I made a huge mistake cutting the zig zag fabric on the bias,
so I went with the black dots instead!

Has become this:



Thank you, Rachel for coming up with this amazing idea!
I love storing my small fabric scraps in old jars, 
and I'm so happy with my Bottled Rainbows Quilt!
The finished blocks are 10 inches square,
which makes this quilt a perfect size to hang on the wall above my sewing machine.

  16. It looks great! Its fun how you interspersed the color blocks (rather than the rainbow type arrangement Rachel did). Love the fussy cut bus on your blue block!
