Here is how I marked the quilt, to echo the scallops.
This was extremely time consuming,
but well worth it!

Close of up the binding . . .
I wanted the binding to blend right into the quilt,
so I pieced the polka dots & orange binding together where the scallops meet.
(The last time I tried this was on this quilt.)
I love everything about this quilt! I really do.
ReplyDeleteWhat a burst of color on a snowy grey day! I think echo quilting was a great choice. The backing is perfect. Yes, very nice! You are mastering curves!

ReplyDeleteIt turned out so nice. I am totally impressed with how you perfectly matched the binding to blend in. Never seen that done before. Did you have to piece it as you went to ensure matching?
