Tangerine

(Pattern/tutorial by Rachel at Stitched in Color,
courtesy of her Curves Class.)

Here is how I marked the quilt, to echo the scallops.
This was extremely time consuming,
but well worth it!

(one minor episode of frustration here!)
 I just love it!
(Thanks so much to everyone who
encouraged me to "echo the scallops"!!!)
 Flannel houses quilt back,
the fabric is by Erin McMorris for FreeSpirit.
Close of up the binding . . .
I wanted the binding to blend right into the quilt,
so I pieced the polka dots & orange binding together where the scallops meet.
(The last time I tried this was on this quilt.)

  7. It turned out so nice. I am totally impressed with how you perfectly matched the binding to blend in. Never seen that done before. Did you have to piece it as you went to ensure matching?
