In progress . . .

Just a quick little "works in progress" update today --
I've finally finished up my mini quilt for
the Doll Quilt Swap 13!
Here's a sneak peak:
I have also been pattern testing for Kristy of Quiet Play -- she's releasing her paper pieced alphabet soon!  Aren't the letter shapes great?!  I think I might try "LOVE" next -- I have a few Valentine's Day projects in mind.
And I'm turning some of my girls' old shirts and baby clothes into pillows -- isn't this one cute?  I just need to decide on a fabric for the back and get it sewn together.
Hope you're all having a lovely week!

  1. you chose a good word for your pattern test :) I have heard of people making quilts with baby clothes, but I never thought of making pillows. I never had enough unstained clothes for a quilt {my kids spit up a ton} but this seems more doable. looks like you are off to a fabulous start with your pillows!
