In progress . . .

Just a quick little "works in progress" update today --
I've finally finished up my mini quilt for
the Doll Quilt Swap 13!
Here's a sneak peak:
I have also been pattern testing for Kristy of Quiet Play -- she's releasing her paper pieced alphabet soon!  Aren't the letter shapes great?!  I think I might try "LOVE" next -- I have a few Valentine's Day projects in mind.
And I'm turning some of my girls' old shirts and baby clothes into pillows -- isn't this one cute?  I just need to decide on a fabric for the back and get it sewn together.
Hope you're all having a lovely week!

  1. you chose a good word for your pattern test :) I have heard of people making quilts with baby clothes, but I never thought of making pillows. I never had enough unstained clothes for a quilt {my kids spit up a ton} but this seems more doable. looks like you are off to a fabulous start with your pillows!

  2. Wow, that alphabet looks great!!

  3. Nice progress Michelle. I like your in-progress quilting photo.

  4. Your paper pieced word looks great! I chose the lower case- and a much shorter word!!

  5. Such a cute wee pillow that's going to be!

  6. all your work is super cute :) Stopping by from freshly pieced WIPs!

  7. Really nice projects, Michelle! I love the idea of making pillows from baby clothes - I wish I had kept more of my kids' clothes!!

  8. LOVE the books!! Can't wait to see it all finished :o)
