Happy Easter!

Holly (early riser), Tallulah (furry pest), and I finished up
two cozy Easter capes early Saturday morning.
I used the Little Red Riding Hood pattern
from the Oliver & S book Little Things to Sew.
These cute little capes were just perfect
for our Easter egg hunt,
in April, in Minnesota
(it was in the 50s, and we were thankful)!

I lined the inside of the capes with cozy minky dots,
super warm and snuggly!
I enough left-over minky to make these cute little bunnies!
(tutorial here)

Hoods up!
I added ric-rack to the hoods,
just to dress it up a bit!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!

  4. These capes are beautiful! I may have to make one for my niece. Of course, that means I'll have to check the book out from the library or else buy one...hmmm..
